How can the ideas of the simulation be used by you?

The following 3 steps will help you create your own simulations within a "Big Picture" simulation.

take away.

step 3: Bring It All together

Goal:

  1. Create a Link between the transferable skill / learning and the Big Picture.

  2. Create a Visualisation displaying all details within the Big Picture.

Solution:

Link to Big Picture:

  • Prestige points are awarded based on each alliance made.

Visualisation:

  • This can be anything from a poster on a wall to digital media. For this example, we use a spreadsheet.

Reasons:

Link to Big Picture:

  • As per the transferable learning, alliances are seen as a sign of strength, influence and can create security as a military deterrent.

  • The transferable skill of negotiation is also rewarded. Prestige is a tangible reward for negotiating an alliance through rewards or persuasion..

Visualisation:

  • A spreadsheet is a great way to store statistics. It also has formulas which can auto-update many fields at once.

  • A google spreadsheet is shareable with all participants. It can also be controlled - view only / read only etc.

public agreements

Mutual Support Agreements

3 points to Prestige

Mutual Support reflects the desire to go all in - aid in the event of outside attack, support in the event of expansion. It makes you look stronger and potentially more impactful.

Friendly Agreement

2 points to Prestige

Friendly allows trade between countries and publicly states that you're unlikely to support attack against your partner and, potentially, offer more support later.

Non-Aggression

1 point to Prestige

Non-Aggression states publicly that you do not plan to attack your partner. If you have no reason to trade or support them in the future, it's a useful way of scoring a point and showing your intentions.
